I am registered with Napit ( membership no. 4980 ) and TrustMark (Government
Endorsed Standards) as a Part P Competent person.
Part P – Is a section of the Building Regulations, as amended 2006, covering Electrical Safety in Dwellings
which states that:- Reasonable provision shall be made in the design and installation of electrical installations,
in order to protect persons operating, maintaining or altering the installations from fire or injury. A copy can be downloaded from www.planningportal.gov.uk.
It is therefore a legal requirement for electrical installations in SPECIAL LOCATIONS such as Kitchens,
rooms containing a Bath or Shower, Garden Lighting and Power, Sheds and Garages, Floor and Ceiling
Heating systems, etc, be notified to the Local Authority Building Control.
As a registered Electrician I am able to certify the electrical installations I install, and notify the Local Authority Building Control on your behalf and insure my work.
I am fully insured with the following cover:-
£2,000.000 Public Liability Insurance.
£250,000 Professional Indemnity Insurance.
All work insured for 6 years.
